401K plan is another type of retirement account. It is an arrangement under the tax law wherein an employer can deduct pre-tax money from a person’s paycheck and the employee can invest it. This money is non -taxable until the person withdraws it.

A 401K rollover is the next step after retirement plan. It moves the 401K retirement fund after retirement, which a person earned in their previous work. The rollover is performed when you leave your previous employer, making the rollover fund continue to grow on differ sources. The company can directly rollover a person’s 401k retirement plan into a 401K rollover plan to get the benefits of 20% IRS maintenance tax.

Thrift savings plan is a retirement savings plan for those civilian who are currently and previously employed by the United States government and for the members of the uniformed services.  People who have thrift savings plan can access their tsp account thru the internet by visiting the TSP website. The TSP account access section of the thrift savings plan website allows you to access your account balance and also request certain transactions. However, to access your TSP account you must have your account number and your eight character web password.

People must also bear in mind that the use of internet to access their accounts involves electronic transmission of personal information. When you use the TSP account access, it only means that you are consenting to the electronic transmission of all the information that they have requested. Also to access the account you must have your Java script enabled.
